I ask that question because I'd really like to know.
Anyone who's been following me for a while will know I have a presence on several other sites besides this one, including deviant art and while I still use it to upload ponies to, I haven't otherwise really been engaging with the site a whole lot.
It's been a long time coming, and to be honest, I'm still not fully satisfied. There's a lot of old fimfic backgrounds that I was never able to find, but I've finally decided to release what I have for the next version of Fimfiction Advanced.
Whilst I was writing this I was honestly having my doubts about posting it as a blog post. All the usual questions came to mind: Are people going to care? Will they even read it? Should I just delete this post and move on, continue in silence safe in knowing I'm not doing anything that would make people unfollow, etc...
As I sit here writing this I'm having trouble putting into words exactly the way I feel right now. A part of me still can't accept that it's real, but then I hug my Rainbow Dash plushie and... I still can't believe it's real.
Yeah, you heard me. I have a fng Rainbow DASH PLUSHIE!
I have two plushies (pictures below), actually! And a whole lot of other little bits and bobs that I honestly didn't think I would ever be able to obtain.
It is soooo hard to find any merchandise around where I live (in the middle of nowhere) and the shipping costs are killer, so I was content with not having any pony stuff ever, but then something amazing happened.
A friend of mine on discord posted a picture of their mountain of plush, and I replied to that:
You know, joking, the way you do. I didn't think he'd actually take me up on that offer... Until he did.
And that's not all, either! I ended up getting a Rainbow Dash and a Pinkie Pie, and a whole bunch of minis, and other things [1]

And for all of this I have to thank Velvet (Remedy) who was so incredibly kind as to send me all of this. It's more than I could have asked for, and I absolutely love them to bits.
