It wouldn't be Bronycon without at least one Biscuit fic!
If you read the story before you got here, you won't be surprised to find out that this one's inspired by my drive from Michigan to Baltimore.
So the news dropped today that a bunch of the folks who did the BronyCon Bookstore in 2019 are revving up for another go. This time, the location is Everfree Northwest in Bellevue, Washington, on August 11-13, with the book shop now being called Twilight's Book Nook.
This is my third or fourth attempt to put these thoughts down coherently, so here goes...

Man, it's been way too long since I wrote one of these things. The past few months have been busy as all hell for me. School, work, writing, WriteOffs, moving, trying to make money... blughuguuhuufguuuggh. Lots of stuff going on.

As per the tradition that only became a tradition when I made post, I have typed up a variety of stories of my time at Bronycon this year. Some of them are funny, some are sad, but all of them had meaning to me in one way or another. I hope you all enjoy them and, if you haven’t been, are intrigued enough to come next year.
I return, ladies and gentlemen. I return from Baltimore and I am happy. I have met incredible people, I have received hugs and gifts and respect, I watched a man propose to his now-fiancée at a panel...
It has been a good weekend. There will be a more detailed breakdown tomorrow, after I get a new laptop. There are going to be a lot of things tomorrow, among them at least one Friendship is Card Games article. (And yes, I saw the latest episode. I generally enjoyed it.)
This past July 27th through 29th marked the sixth incarnation of BronyCon I’ve attended in a row. That means six years of sleeping on hard hotel floors and corners of beds not built for two people, six summers of spouting wild story ideas over typewriters and crabcakes and heckling fan panelists before and after being heckled myself, six times I’ve attached dozens of screennames to faces and learned how friendly/funny/gifted/Majin the people behind those names really were.

Soooo, quite a lot has happened from the last blog post to this one. Like in my army life.
Go to the HarmonyCon booth in the vendor hall, and ask them if I will be speaking there.
I spent last night unpacking 15 boxes of books I received ahead of the con. (This is in addition to the inventory that's already been sent on ahead of me -- a big, big thank-you to Aquaman* and Singularity Dream for helping me make sure PFP stock will be at the con at opening, not whenever I show up -- and the inventory I already had in hand. Oh, and Bad Horse is handling
In the event it was unclear that the main relationship in this story had progressed pretty far, I would hope that the first part of this chapter makes it crystal clear. Like, colorless corundum clear, like glass in water clear. That really wasn't the point of the scene, but in case you didn't know, now you should.
Bronycon 2019 is so very close now, and I'm happy to say that my efforts to contribute to the awesomeness of this final Bronycon have been successful.

I've been sorting through my mountains of Pony stuff (as we sort our attic... there were boxes of papers and crap in there from 1960.) and realized I have a LOT of duplicates. When I was too busy, I just grabbed when there was excess stuff to get rid of, and then shoved it all in plastic tubs and poster envelopes... it's only NOW that I actually have time to look at it!

I'm still doing stuff, but a lot of my writing energy has been on original stuff (non-pony stuff, scary, huh?).
Anyway, so ya know, I'll be going off to BronyCon. If you're going to be out in Baltimar- I mean, Baltimore, let me know. We can hang and do stuffs.
