    Realize I haven't breathed a word about this, and that I'm generally silent on the blog side of Fimfiction as it is, but I'm attending Everfree Northwest this year!

    Glimpses 2 - Now Complete

    Though it was a day late, hopefully, it's not a dollar short. I've posted the final chapter of Glimpses 2! I hope everyone enjoys the last chapter and enjoyed the story as I whole. I would also like to thank everyone that submitted suggestions to my blog about a month ago. The anthology would not have been nearly as interesting without your input!

Late Post-Bronycon 2016 · 5:00pm Jul 25th, 2016

Work hit hard as soon as I got back from the east coast, so I apologize for this being delayed by a week... wait, sweet mercy it's been two weeks.

Anyway, had a blast at Bronycon. As always, it's great fun to be able to see the people that I normally only get to talk to through the glow of my monitor. I didn't hang out as much at Quills and Sofa's as I did last year, but that was mostly because I had so many other places to be. It was great fun joining Wanderer D, Somber, Arad, GaPJaxie. The Head to Headcanon panel I ran also did pretty well, despite its late hour and the... *cough* panel that ran before us running over time. I definitely think it would go better if me, Wanderer D, Illustrious Q, and El Oso had more energy. That's the trouble with a 12:30 AM panel after a long first day of the con. That or maybe I just need to get another panelist with a letter in their name.

Shout outs to some of the writer folks I saw there. The Masked Ferret, Capn Chryssalid, Skeeter, Applejinx, Sunchaser, CyborgSamurai, Bad Horse, and others that I can't remember two weeks after the fact :fluttercry:. I may have only seen some of you in passing, but it was always fun catching up. And if I forgot your name, please don't be mad. Work has really been that hectic that I'm lucky I'm squeezing in writing this blog this morning before I head in.

Some special shout out to some of the artists I got to meet and talk to at the convention as well. White Diamond (of RariJack Daily), if was great getting to meet you for the first time. RyuRedwings (of Filly Queen Chrysalis) and Valcron, it was great to see you again and to touch base. Also, to RyuRedwing in particular. The poster you had in the silent auction that I won is up on the wall in my apartment and looks beautiful. Thanks again so much for signing it.

Along with the drawn picture artists, I'd like to shout out to a couple plushie makers who had booths at the vendors hall this year. SoapyBacon and Kiashone requested to sell some Nyx based plushies. Behold, the adorableness.

SoapyBacon is the one that made the little one, and I believe she was making it only for Bronycon and sold out of the few she made. The larger one was made by Kiashone. She was intending to make more than one, but production problems lead her to only being able to make one and she saved it for me. (Thank you so much, Kiashone.) Still, at the convention she was taking commissions for Nyx. So while I wouldn't suggest flooding her deviant-art inbox, if you wanted one of the larger Nyx's, you might be able to procure one through her at a reasonable price.

And with all that done, again... I had a blast. Hung out with friends, attended two big group dinners, watched Finding Dory with a medium group of folks on Sunday night. Stayed up all Sunday night because Wanderer D wanted to play shipfic (and then we didn't play ship-fic. Wanderer, I blame you for my lack of sleep before my very early flight.) And in all, it was a convention, fun was had, and now I need months to recover from the pony overload.

~~~
And as a final note. I am working on a new story, and its in the final stages. Just waiting for the cover art I commissioned to be done and some last editing to go through on the chapters before I bring it onto here. It's a celebration of a milestone some of you likely already noticed. So I hope you're ready to catch some glimpses of some crazy things in the next few weeks.
P.S. Ha, Wanderer! I wrote my post con blog. Your pessimism has been overcome by... oh crud, late for work. :rainbowderp: (Not really, but kind of, but it's okay. Nobody worry.)
