So they have confirmed that season 6 week air on March 26. 3 weeks from today.
Unfortunately I'm going to be busy and won't be able to watch it for a few days Oh well, I'm going to have a fun weekend anyways I will be hiding from the internet from the 24-28 in order to avoid last minute spoilers.
I'm stuck with just a phone right now so this will be short. Anyway, I really liked this one. I'm not sure whether people who've never been to a con would get quite so much out of it, but I thought it was hilarious. One of Rainbow's best episodes in a while, too. ****
If there's one thing this fandom is good at, it's drama. I have never been involved in a community that, down to even some of the smallest subgroups that I've been involved in, revolves so heavily on drama. Now that Twilicorn has had a couple of years to die down, it's time to shift our focus to the latest polarizer in our cute little pony show: Starlight Glimmer.
If you haven't read the previous post click right here.
Before starting I've to say that, although the first episode I watched was from season 2, technically I started here, 4 months after the finale, so I'm not that familiar with details like the "Save Derpy" project or even the hate towards Twilicorn, which were influenced in this season.
well that was a pretty good episode. not the best premiere ever but i really liked sunburst, and starlight’s interactions with him and with spike ( still have mix feelings about Starlight and her 180 in the final @~@). surprisingly the alicorn baby was probably the least interesting part of all of this. There were also a lot of cute and funny moments <3 So in the end, MLP is admits that children are clearly malevolent, and are the most evil of villains.Damn you,Flurry Heart ( and yoyr cuteness)
I hated the Season 6 finale.
How did Chrysalis capture the entire Mane 6? How did she capture Luna and Celestia? How did noling notice that Luna was dream walking? How was the episode even leaked? Why do some people like this?
I could barely take the revelation that Celestia and Luna weren't born alicorns (which makes no sense). Now this pile of dog shit. I'm not watching another episode again. I am fed up with this crap. Hell, I might not even watch the movie.
Let's hope the quality stays as awesome as this season's (and not end up like most long running show (like Heroes, CSI, OUAT, SUPERNATURAL, and X-files ( just to name a few) and lost there 'spark').
Also i wouldn't be surprised if Season 6 had a three month gap in the middle like this season had.
Yea, I know, it was amazing! We have gotten SO much INFORMATION from this two chapters. I'd believe an old enemy will be returning... Oh, and then we have more Shining Armor! Celestia and Luna ACTUALLY do things! On CAMERA (and behind them)! And Starlights old friend, Starburst (Sunburst? Gah, can't remember!), I just simply love him!
Disclaimer: If you haven't seen the Season 6 premiere don't proceed. A few possible spoilers ahead.
Before Saturday: 10 hours to go! omg i can't wait for this!
the next morning: snoooorrrreee.............................
*update! the episodes were awesome!*
We already knew Hasbro had ring-fenced funding for a couple more seasons after season 5, but it's good to see a season 6 officially announced!
"Later this year" seems to suggest a very short break between seasons!
Tiny Pop did not show episode 23. And if a screenshot of an email posted on /mlp/ is to be believed (yes, I know) it was because of cider references. However, the channel's online schedule does still list the finale for tomorrow and Friday -- and episode 24 for Monday.
If DF hadn't had that mid-season hiatus, the US would be done with S6 by now.
Yep, I saw it. Holy crap did I see it....
I wont lie, Season 5 almost made me lose interest in MLP for various reasons (Season 4 didn't really help either)...but gosh darn it I loved the first episode of Season 6! I loved it so much, all I can say is that I will not officially attempt to make a blog post for each new episode regarding my thoughts on them. Of course, I'll wait for the first episode to get some traction and have others watch it.
We're back! I'm relying on my phone at the moment, so this will be fairly short. It was fairly good, I guess. I'm still not a great fan of Flurry Heart, and some similarities to "Baby Cakes", an episode I dislike, don't help. On the plus side, I liked the Starlight/Sunburst stuff a good deal, and there were some nice little touches. Particularly good to hear two characters speak. This premiere didn't wow me, but it didn't repel me either. The very last second intrigued me, too... ★★★
