S6E01/02: The Crystalling · 1:27pm Mar 27th, 2016
We're back! I'm relying on my phone at the moment, so this will be fairly short. It was fairly good, I guess. I'm still not a great fan of Flurry Heart, and some similarities to "Baby Cakes", an episode I dislike, don't help. On the plus side, I liked the Starlight/Sunburst stuff a good deal, and there were some nice little touches. Particularly good to hear two characters speak. This premiere didn't wow me, but it didn't repel me either. The very last second intrigued me, too... ★★★
I can't get edit to work, but I'll add here that it was also nice to see Celestia doing something important for once.
The identity of that last second blip has been revealed on EQD. :D
Agreed on a lot of points. I'll probably post about my overall view of the episode in a short while.
