My Reaction to "Hearthbreakers": Yay, References! · 2:28am Oct 25th, 2015
Holy shnikies, did you guys see that?
Check out the references on the left side of that screenshot. First, in the back seat, you see "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles."

Time for another chapter having Apple Bloom and Cheerilee, and introducing Rainbow Dash to the story.
So far, Equestria had been nothing but pain for our human – can one stubborn filly and her teacher change that? Will John's fortune finally change ? Read to find out.
Enjoy!
So you guys know, I'm working on Chapter Two still, I would have had it up last night were it not for a glitch erasing the entire chapter forcing me to have to rewrite it from scratch...
Ugh...
Anyway, I could use an editor for this story early on to make sure I don't make let any mistakes bleed into my story. It's clear people have high hopes for this and I intend to deliver.
Anyone interested can DM me. I just have a few requirements.
Now that I've gotten this week's chapter of Altered Visage out of the way, how about I make the next chapter of John 'Honeycrisp' Apple public too? Spoilers and discussion after the break.
Jamboree Aftermath, direct sequel to The Apple Jamboree, is now available.
There are getting to be enough tales in the Elsequestria continuity that I think I will post a guide in a little bit, and then add to it as more tales develop.
Rather than do a big ol' comment response to the latest chapter, "Apple Computer, Part 1," I thought I'd just do a blog post to address a common line of commentary/inquiry/criticism. If you haven't read that far, you might not want to read this.
The sequel to the superb 2015 neo-noir action movie, I was initially doubtful about the idea of a movie as excellent as John Wick having a worthy sequel. To me, the original movie did so much right in establishing its story of Keanu Reeves' retired master hitman, the world of assassins that he had been a part of, and the story of his rampage of revenge on the mobsters who had wronged him.
A friend assured me that the sequel was a worthy follow-up to the original, and well worth watching.
Please go read the newest chapter of Please Downvote on a computer or tablet (not a mobile phone).Link to the most recent chapter of Please Downvote, which is called "You Should Listen to Tower of Babel by Elton Bon I truly believe it to be some of my finest work, and it also has a great Elton John deep cut enbedded in it. If you can, leave a comment to let me know what you think.
I'd meant to type this up before I went on my trip, but oh well.
John Wick.
AKA, "The one where Keanu Reeves proves he can act."
Or, if you'd prefer, "The dog-owner's revenge fantasy."
This 2014 neo-noir action movie is a veritable masterpiece of story, worldbuilding, and yes, action. The first thirty minutes of the film are quite minimal in dialogue, and yet the audience is deftly led into the plot of the movie and why we should care.
Ok I know I just posted a progress update/Blog post and currently I am writing but I was listening to this while currently working on chapter 10
And all I can imagine while listening to this is that it's being played for Jolyne in some romantic scenario and it makes listening to this song that much more beautiful.

“I’m having a terrible day. Somebody broke into my house last night and they drank all the vodka! They replaced every app on my phone with Tetris, and every song in my library with Tchaikovsky! Worst of all, they exposed my carelessness because I didn’t lock my door. What do I do? Who can I blame this on?TM”
