So as 1 of you may know, aside from my Unforgiven saga, which I do love and have a lot of great things in store for, my primary baby is my Godzilla/Marvel crossover.
Now, I've been working on this crossover since 2009, so I've got a lot of time and thought put into it. It's not just a "Godzilla vs. the Fantastic Four" or "King Ghidorah vs. The Avengers" story, it's a universe vs. universe story, with as many characters from either side as I can possibly work in.
So, here was a little interesting something that came to me last night. Might post it on something like Archive eventually, but for now... Well, here you go. Godzilla (Animated Series version) VS Shin Godzilla. Huge thanks to the Bridge server, and to Tarbtano especially for their contributions and assistance.
66 years and still going strong. Long may he reign.
You might be wondering why I haven’t written much lately. One excuse is that Turner Classic Movies has been having weekly monster movie marathon’s. They do this every year. It’s usually Universal and Hammer films, but this year they’ve been showing classic Godzilla movies.
After experimenting with Botnik's Predictive Word Keyboard, I have finally completed my bot-based take on Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Read on if you're looking for a (hopefully) good laugh.
Emma and mark russell emerges from the apocalypse in 2014 and look to see godzilla triumphantly march into the ocean. Mark and emma 's son is gone and they soon divorce.
On this day three years ago, the King of the Monsters and the Eighth Wonder of the World clashed for supremacy , along with the second archenemy of Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, making its return to the big screen!
OH MY GOODNESSSSSSSS!!!
OH MY GOODNESS I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS AND I'M SO HYPED AND I'M–
jadeDawn.exe has stopped working
And all in all?
It was fun. Good mindless monster mash of a film. Funny how much some of the stuff with Kong in the movie made me think, just a little, of Primal. If only for the lack of dialogue and the importance of character through action and expression.
I regret many things. One of them is how absent I’ve been. That, hopefully, stops now as I haven’t been idle. I’m sorry if some worried I abandoned the site, the fandom, or my story. Not so. What have I been up to? Well aside from spending some free time on the Discord to keep myself mentally sane with social interaction, graduate school has been an enormous time drain and I also hosted a visit from my beloved girlfriend; known to you all as Faith-Wolff, recently.
Oh, did you think the story was all I was working on? I've got another little project dropping tomorrow.
I went to go watch Godzilla. It was awesome and worth the watch.
That is all. I'm so hyped up right now my giddiness is threatening to make it so I don't sleep.
Also whomever the critic who said they wanted more human character interactions... they are a moron of the highest caliber.
This is more of a full-fledged review with some extra observations that sprang to mind, thinking about the movie. For anyone who's interested.
"Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" is a dumb film that is very smartly made, and I say that in the form of highest praise. This is a movie that knows it is a monster mash first and foremost - essentially, a Godzilla movie of the 60s and 70s given the modern-day blockbuster treatment - and builds itself entirely around that.
