The next Feathered Hearts chapter was already well over 17k words and probably on its way to 20k, which is a lot more than I typically allow in a single entry. It also had a natural breakpoint mid-chapter, so I elected to make use of it. After much splicing and understanding how to work a wire or two, my mother and I managed to deduce how to fix my laptop's problem; turns out it was more the cord's fault than the charger port.
