Firefly chapter release today; Feathered Hearts chapter release tomorrow · 3:31pm Jul 4th, 2021
Well, folks... work is finally easing, and if all goes well, you’re going to see two chapters from me in the next two days. Firefly is nearly ready except for the songs and graphics, which I’m still working on, but I’ll share the base map of Harness Hill here:
It should launch this evening and give you something to come back to after barbecue and fireworks. And following close on its heels is a new main story chapter for Feathered Hearts, which came surprisingly readily to me over the past week even as Firefly was in prereads. The objective right now for FH is to transition back to the main storyline, where I can pick up the original chapters and start editing them again after this five-chapter bonus arc.
Expect to learn more about the aftermath of the side story, and see the first meeting between Gilda and Fortrakt following. Yes, it’s about as uncomfortable as you’d expect. 
But you’ll also learn where things stand with the Ibex at that point in time, and what happened to Sergeant Reyes that night.
No preview, sorry, if only because at its current 7500 words, a preview might reveal too much of what happens. But the chapter will go live tomorrow morning. In the meantime, for all my US readers--Happy 4th of July!
Yikes. Looks like some last stand type action is coming.
