BLUF: I somehow already completed the draft for the next chapter. Should be dropping this week after I go through it a few times. I also discuss a little about the new Romance tag. Enter at own risk.

BLUF: New chapter highly likely to be dropping this weekend.
Sweet merciful Heavens above, I finally finished writing the next chapter! First off, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! A bit late I know but better than never. Second off, this chapter took way longer than I expected it to. I was thinking it would be around 5, maybe 7k words long at most. Nope. Try just over 15k words!
BLUF: All is going according to plan. Muhahaha! Er, I mean... yay hooray.
BLUF: Pictures of Arctic, Pitch, and Meadow in different pony creators.
BLUF: Time flies! Also, chapter draft is complete.
First things first, I've finished writing the next chapter and I'm just going through my finishing process. I would expect a drop, if not this weekend, then definitely sometime next week. Maybe even tonight if we're lucky.
So...
BLUF: Been very busy. Lost some momentum. Next chapter just under 50% complete.
The updated version of set sail is now live. It doesn't shake up too much that it would require a reread, but it could be interesting to go back and see the changes.
The biggest change, compared to the original, is Arctic's interaction with the Queen. Before, he was fearful and seemingly clueless, now he's much more confident and a bit bold, which I feel fits him better.
Hey all, I'm just about finished brainstorming everything for part 2 of CotE. I don't mean to overhype anything, but honestly, I'm very excited for what I have planned, especially for chapters later down the line. Now, it's one thing to plan and another to write down what's in my head (which I have struggled with in the past). I do believe I am getting better at writing my ideas down as I continue so I'm not too worried. This next part is gonna be on helluva ride with some nice (and possibly
So very, very bored right now. Might as well give you all an update then and give me something to do. Draft is finished, just awaiting edits now. It looks to be over 11,000 words long, didn't even know I could write that much in one chapter.
Hey all! For the next two weeks at work I'm gonna be on 12 hour shifts which will leave me with little to no time to work on the next chapter. It's a shame really, because I'm so close to the end and I am really enjoying the direction this chapter is heading and I just want to finish it. I'll still have the weekends so hopefully it won't delay it by too much.
While working on the next chapter I accidentally clicked on the publish button instead of edit. I'm not 100% sure how the site works so I apologies if you got a notice about a new chapter and found nothing. I wrote a comment on the story, but decided to write a short blog about this as well just in case. And because I got a bit paranoid after doing that so... yeah. I guess I owe you guys a brief little update.
Oi Vey it's been a while hasn't it?
Well, I come baring good news. The next chapter of CotE is completely written down. However, for some not so good news, It's not ready for release yet. It still needs to be proofread and edited to make sure it all flows well enough. I need my cousin for both of these things and he's been very busy with work and family so I can't guarentee a relase date yet, but it should be very soon.
Fun Fact: Changeling of the East is actually my 7th attempt at writing a story. All the previous 6 attempts have ended in failure, whether it was because I was just not satisfied, or it simply just fell flat. Hell, most of the time all those attempts would only stress me out to no end as I tried to be an absolute perfectionist. It was during my latest attempt (see Collision Theory [which I may or may not cancel]) when I came up with the premise of Changeling of the East with three main goals in
