Quick Update · 9:34pm Oct 16th, 2019
BLUF: Been very busy. Lost some momentum. Next chapter just under 50% complete.
Last week I noticed how my last two chapters came out on the 17th of the month. I then tried finishing the current one to be ready October 17th to keep the pattern. Unfortunately, no such luck. A combination of being very busy and having all my momentum crawl to a halt has made it that I'm not even halfway done writing the next chapter. It's actually annoying me, because I have all the scenes in my head and I'm just struggling putting it down on paper. However, I do feel some of that momentum returning which will improve the rate I can write. To put in perspective, when I was at my peak I managed to write 5000 words in a single night. If I were to regain that, this chapter would be finish within a night. What this means is that I don't exactly have a timetable for when the next chapter comes out. If I stay at my current rate, it will be a while yet (which is something I want to avoid). If I can get back in rythm, it could easily be ready by next week.
The other problem that could cause delay is that my cousin (my editor) is becoming very busy himself and has very little time to look over my work. I'm aware that there is a group on this site if one needs an editor and I'll look into it if my cousin becomes completely unavailable. Speaking of my cousin, I actually got him to watch some of Tridashie's friendship is musical videos. That was something alright, hahaha. Though I think I broke more in the end than he did and I'm the brony! (He has no involvement in MLP outside editing my story.)
With all that said, I like to keep people up to date so if there is anything like a 3-4 week gap between chapters I'll be sure to let you all know what's up and how much progress has been made.
