That was fast! · 2:42am Dec 3rd, 2019
BLUF: I somehow already completed the draft for the next chapter. Should be dropping this week after I go through it a few times. I also discuss a little about the new Romance tag. Enter at own risk.
If you've been one of the few reading my many blogs up until now, you should realize I tend to ramble on and sometimes end up sharing information about the story (such as potential spoilers *hint* *hint*) that I probably shouldn't. It goes without saying that this one is no different. Enter at own risk.
Well, that was fast. I've managed to keep hold of my momentum and wrote 7k words in the course of just 2 days. I'm gonna hold on and read through it a few times like I normally do, but It should be coming out this week. Keeping to the constant theme of this story changing up on me, an unplanned and unexpected outcome happens in this chapter which I'm thinking of discussing further in a future blog after its release. I don't wish to give away spoilers, so I'll just hide a single, potentially spoiling word for the over curious because why the hell not? Arista. There are really times where I feel like this story is taking me for a ride to an unknown destination instead of me driving to a planned destination. Welp, only one thing for it. Throw up my arms and shout "Weeeee!"
Also, in case you haven't noticed, I added an extra tag to the story. I figured with 2 romantic pairs and 2 others struggling with romance that it was finally time to add in the romance tag. I was keeping the idea up in the air for a long time, as I didn't know if I was going to explore any ideas with romance past Meadow and Pitch. Then Silvia happened. Silvia wasn't suppose to happen. She was suppose to remain a one off character made so I could put in a cheesy and obscure reference to the song "Piano Man" (Ch. Backstreet). Then the next two chapters came out and she reappeared. Then she decided to stay and play a bigger role for part 2. Frankly, it's just another one of those "Weeee" moments and I decided to give in and explore the subject of romance. Does this confirm that Arctic will end up with Silvia? No it doesn't. I have an idea for Arctic's little romantic side plot that I'm not going to spoil, but frankly, with the constant changes happening as I push forward, anything can happen. It's truly up to the characters at this point. With maybe a little guiding hand...
Other changes I'm thinking of is replacing the Slice of Life tag with the Drama tag and adding in the sex tag due to some of the implications mentioned in conversations. Especially in that last chapter. Oi vey!
