Hey there, everypony!
I hope you're all having a splendid week so far. Last night and today, I spent some time pouring my feelings onto paper in the form of a story for your eyes and/or ears. Lately, I've been dealing with the uncertainty of life and lingering a bit too much on the past. This story tackles those feelings, and through writing it, I've learned how best to deal with what I'm going through.
I hope it's something you all enjoy.
I said that, when "The Sun Also Rises" got two thousand overall views, I'd post a preview for "A Shimmering New Year". It happened earlier today...so here's a preview for you!
“Nervous?”
“A little.” She took a deep breath, but it did little to steady her nerves. She looked at her reflection, as well as that of her friend, in the glass of the school trophy case. As weak as it was, she could see her concern in the image of her pale green eyes. “What if we mess this up?”
After my previous sponsor dropped of contact with me many months ago in 2021, a fan of Fecundity went above and beyond and picked up the slack! Thank you so much to PeerImagination, Fecundity's new commissioner! Seriously, that was a solid move, my dude!
I had a great year, I really did. Not personally nor as an American living through the pandemic in one of its worst-hit states but on Fimfiction I had an outstanding goddamn year. Two new stories featured, one won an award in a competition with over 100 contestants, and one featured on update. I met a new friend on Fimfiction.net and helped him fight a brief if sharp, drama war over some silly Aryanne clopfic I helped bring into the world. I said hello to the Brony Discord community and gained
As promised, a new story based somewhat on the one I've canceled. This will prove to be quite a bit longer than I'd expected to attempt so soon but as I've strictly limited the number of characters I'm employing down to a more manageable level and settled on far fewer plot points than Foolers, I feel confident in my ability to keep the story from creeping.
Will likley release it tomorrow or next week. Just depends on how I feel.
In just about a month, I'll have been on the site for seven years. It's honestly pretty incredible to me that nearly 1/3 of my entire life has been spent perusing this website, posting stories, and making a lot of great friends along the way. During my journey, I've set out a few different goals for myself.
Hey everypony,
I just wanted to share some art that was created by my friend's girlfriend for my story, The Place I Feel Safest. To date, this is my only story to be featured on EQD and it's one I am actually proud of for a change.
Here's the art!
Heee!!!! Thx so much for getting me into that fancy Feature Box! It's SOOO COOL!!!
I wanted to reward you all, so I fixed up the next chapter and got it out to you super quick!

I'd sample the story to give you an idea but on this particular occasion, I'd have to break the rules of the site.
Final Say is not my usual fare I post on here. Those who read my content warning post know that it was written at a point when, personally I was falling apart, and about to do something unimaginable. Unfortunately nor is it my first story, or series, where a beginning starts with an end. I have another unfinished work (or thirty) in the same vein, not on here mind you, and they are far worse in matter of descriptiveness.
So since over the last week, everybody’s done their obligatory Everfree Northwest blog, I figured it was about time I got around to it, too.

So apparently I can't do something as simple as read two chapters in a week, so this week's fanfic will once again be completely blind.
Great special overall.
So was the opening song a montage that took place over a longer time then the length of the tune? Sometimes it seemed to be telling a continuous story, but other times the characters just jumped around.

I know I didn't tell anyone I was writing a new story but I really wanted something to show for it first. I don't have an ETA on how the editing process will go down but historically these things take anywhere from 3-7 days depending on the availability of my editor and prereaders. Suffice it to say I'll post it once it's ready and I'm not looking to rush things.
