Hay everypony! Hopefully, you'll see new horse words from me soon.
Hubby Jewel (a.k.a. whitekitten/Tala Tearjerker) laughed so hard we had to pause the recording.
Hello and good morning to all my readers (unless you're in a really different time zone, in which case it would be afternoon or evening... nevermind).
That new story I mentioned before is finally up to read! Only the first chapter so far though, just for a little start. So in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this little summer surprise, and say hello to my new Celestia and Sunset Shimmer fic... Swimming Lessons
So, yeah. Jingleclop is alive again! Two seasons later. But honestly, spacing it out means more delicious fun throughout the year, and what's summer without a little sauce?
So... apparently my submission for Art for Fanfiction's 2019 Summer Writing Contest won second place.
This is very, very strange. My writing is honestly not that good! Why do people like it so much?!
This is very weird, yet flattering.

Welcome readers, to another installment of Being a Better Writer’s Summer of Cliche Writing Advice! We are rolling right along and into week six of this feature, and the cliche advice just keeps coming.
Seriously, I've been playing WAY more video games lately (Xillia 2 and Binding of Isaac, mostly), and binging on a lot of youtube stuff. Mostly TearofGrace, because he's hilarious and people should watch him more.
It's that time of year again. The time when people across the site get to see their basest and most vile fantasies come true! If something like this didn't already exist, I'd request it to be brought into existence. I love everything about this event from a conceptual and technical basis.
And, I'm already sick of it. Way too hot to want to do anything but play games and eat ice cream. In fact, I've been unfortunately distracted by said activities to want to write. It's kinda making me a little disappointed in myself, but I'll find a way to fight back against the chronic laziness that is summer.
Can't wait for fall. Seriously.
But Ah did it!
Ah sat down, after working on mah Halloween cosplay, and finished proofreading, editing, and getting all the bits situated to finally submit the new story.
Thankfully, Ah'm awesome and proven worthy of Auto-Approval, so more than likely it'll be ready to read within the hour, maybe less.
Definitely will be up by the morning, for sure...barring any unexpected chaos.
Hi, folks!
Summer is winding down, and as such I won't have as much time for writing in the coming months. That pretty much sums it up, but if you're still reading, here come specifics.
Hello team, it's ya boi CategoricalGrant up in here!
I've got three new stories coming your way; my guess is that they'll be released one per week over the rest of the month as a last 'hurrah' to a summer of surprising writing productivity before the inevitable fall slowdown.
They are:
Yesterday, I posted an essay about Summer Sun Setback, the princesses, and the fact that the end of the show is neigh. There are, however, a few more thoughts on the episode that I wanted to share that don't quite fit into that box.
The theme of Summer Sun Setback was growth - moving on, and the story reinforces that theme in a lot of little ways in 22 minutes.
