    Stories I Almost Wrote, #7

It's been over three years since I even thought about updating this, so I might as well bury it. Rest in peace, Royally Ruffled Feathers.

First, the notes. They're as jumbled and out of order as usual, but I tried to tidy up at least a little bit.

    Bubble, Bubble...

Hello again! Remember the span of months in which Sucker For A Cute Face inadvertently produced spin-off clopfics and one bonus chapter? Well, now there's a side story set about three months after the main one, which you can read Here!

Stories I'll (Probably) Never Write, #8!

Been a while since one of these, huh? Over a year since the last plot bunny dump, two years since the last of the type detailing a story I never really tried to write in earnest. I'm not sure why I'm keeping track of that.

Hi, folks!

Summer is winding down, and as such I won't have as much time for writing in the coming months. That pretty much sums it up, but if you're still reading, here come specifics.

Pushing to get the 30,000 or so words worth of story in Sucker For a Cute Face (the sick episode(s) and Adagio's POV chapter(s)) done in the span of just a few weeks was not a great idea, and it left me a little burnt out. That, and I'm still trying to write a few others stories (I'm thinking of calling it the 'Dazzle and Fluff' series...) in conjunction, which while I don't regret, still takes time. I don't think I can keep up a chapter for SFaCF every week on top of everything else, but going back to every two weeks might be manageable. I should still be posting a new chapter this Saturday and wrapping up the Moonbutts Unite arc in Sunny, Moonie, Twily over the course of the next month or so. The assessment of overall length in part one was spot-on, I'm afraid. :twilightsheepish:

So yes, it's been a good summer, but all things must end. Except for infinity, because then it's a misnomer. Hate those.

Maybe you can accelerate to the part where they suck each others' faces.

I was pretty astonished you kept up a weekly update schedule as long as you did, so go ahead and slow down if it helps avoid burnout. A better story is more important than a faster one, as long as it still gets written eventually.

As long as you are enjoying doing the thing at the comfortable pace, we all will be able enjoy the spectacle. So have fun, after all this is what it's all about.
