Have done a little composing in the past and I've got a few good ideas for a progressive piece after getting inspiration from a friend's story on here.

I'm hoping this isn't just a thread for people to toot their own horns (pun intended). Can stuff like collabs and contests and such can take place? To those ends I'd like to state for the record I'm pretty approachable and always keen to get involved with anything musical with others.

This thread is aimed at seeing what people's specialties are and what they are knowledgeable about. So if someone had a question on, say, Double Bass, you could ask AwesomeSauce78 about it. Or if you wanted to collab with a singer, you could ask anyone in that section.

Collabs, contests and anything else of the like can't be done on this thread, but you can make your own thread for that sort of thing, and see the response you get.

I'm a SoundCloud based bass (heh) music artist, completely software based production with minimal hardware at this point (Speakers and a laptop). Still learning the skills, but I'm actually managing decent content so far thank God. Kinda have to as I'm sending it off to be marked by the universities I'm applying to. I find that not knowing entirely what I'm doing helps me discover weird new methods and sounds.
