This category is for timeloops that arise as a result of someone being able to voluntarily experience a period of time.

For example, a character might make use of a spell which allows them to relive moments from their past. In effect, the timeloop is isolated and may not necessarily be connected with the character's present, although changes made in the past may ripple through to the present. The 2004 movie The Butterfly Effect demonstrates this kind of phenomenon.

It isn't necessary for the time period to be visited multiple times, but the 'mental time travel' aspect must be present.
