Having left Opaline for good, Misty is still trying to get used to the big changes in her life: Living in Maretime Bay, and having actual friends.

To make matters worse, Misty is still plagued with guilt over the role she played in helping Opaline become so powerful. And the guilt continues to linger despite the reassurances of her friends.

Then, one day, Misty runs into a friend of Sunny and Hitch that hasn't really hung out with them in a long time. But Sprout seems to know at least a little about what Misty is going through, in fact, he claims he can relate. Yet neither he or Misty suspects that something might be blooming between them.

This story is a sequel to Flurry Heart's Story: The Perfect Storm Streak

Everyone in Ponyville is preparing for the event of the summer: Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich's wedding! Unfortunately, Flurry starts to notice something just isn't right: Pinkie seems to be a little stressed out and not exactly herself. Perhaps Flurry is just a little apprehensive about the fact that her own parents had to deal with a changeling invasion in their wedding years ago. Twilight has the Changeling Necklace which helps her to see through changeling disguises, so everything should be fine, right? Also, why is Maud acting so weird?

Inspired by the official show, this is part of a fan-made sequel series I created called "Flurry Heart's Story", which documents the adventures of Flurry Heart as she makes friends and faces new and familiar villains, some of which may still be redeemable.

On her way to work with her smoothie cart one morning, Sunny happens to bump into Sprout and notices that he's looking rather unhappy. Soon, she begins to feel like she's unintentionally forgotten all about him, and so has everypony else.

Determined to cheer Sprout up and make him happy again, Sunny convinces her friends to join with her to give Sprout a surprise birthday party. But they'll have to be quick, because Sprout's birthday is only a few days away!

Can Sunny and her friends get everything ready in time for Sprout's big day?

Once Flurry Heart realizes that all her friends' parents are missing too, she fears for the safety of Shining Armor and Cadance. She eventually comes face to face with a powerful dark alicorn that resembles Nightmare Moon who calls herself the "Sorceress". Having experienced the possession of a nightmare once before, Princess Luna shows up to battle this horrifying creature, hoping to find out who she is and why she is doing this. Can the Sorceress be stopped or will every pony child in Equestria lose their mothers and fathers for good?

Can't an ordinary pony who lives in an extraordinary seaside town have one day, just one normal day, without anything going wrong? Posey sure wishes that things were that simple that grasp. It seems as though the day has other plans for her.

By sheer chance, Hitch discovers that Sparky's egg came with a note. Upon reading it, he discovers a familiar name as the author of the note: Spike.

Once informed of this discovery, Sunny realizes that Spike must know what happened to Equestria that caused the pony tribes to become divided. She subsequently recruits all of her friends to join her on a journey to see the old dragon.

When the five mares finally do meet with Spike, they'll be surprised to learn his reason behind sending Sparky to Maretime Bay. And Spike will shed light on how the utopia Princess Twilight created came undone.
