Soarin feels as if nothing is going his way. Then, he meets Storm Whirl. A mare who curses him to live in a universe named Sciros where he doesn't exist with nothing but a magical rose. His wife doesn't recognize him at all and all of her friends are different.

There's only one way for Soarin to get home. If he could get Rainbow Dash to fall in love with him by the time the last petal fell, he would get to go back to Equestria. If not, he disappears.
