When a string of minor accidents cause a disturbance on the flight deck and a group of suspicious sailors catch their attention, the two of them wonder if it's more than just a coincidence. With nothing better to do, the dynamic duo become rookie detectives in matters they have no business investigating.

One's a brash, heavily caffeinated hothead that plays by her own rules. So's the other one. They're bored.

"The war of the suns is an unique war. Lasting barely a year, it's one of the shortest in our history. But in spite of this, it is also the one having the greatest impact on our society, as it brought the end to the Queens reign and bore way for the Empress, as well as the completely unique effect that a public movement caused the restorement of the bloodline.

While the history off the war of the sun is is well known, the origin and reason for the conflict is still somewhat held in darkness. And just as so, the very end of the conflict, the final hours, have until now been a secret.

I have been given acess to the royal archives, I have interweived many of thepeople who were around at the time, and my position earned me a special moment with the Empress herself.

The story won't be made justice as a simple history text, and I have therefore taken the liberty of a slight dramatition. I can only hope you'll find it as fascinating as I did, and that you see our glorious history in a new light.

On the Day of the Dying Sun, she performed Astrum Nova. From then on, that world ceased to exist.

Twilight Sparkle, daughter of the highly exalted Captain Night Light, was (to put it lightly) hilariously underwhelming. The only reason why she was one of Princess Celestia's students? Because a place as a personal student of the princess was a reward for the captain. Other than that, she was a scrawny unicorn with no actual magical talent, other than the whole bunch of magical theories crammed into her head. To make it worse, Sunset Shimmer, greatest unicorn the world has ever seen, was her only classmate. But Celestia has entrusted her with a journal, and the knowledge of the Elements of Harmony and the harmonic energy field they radiate, keeping Equestria safe from harm for eons. As a sinister plan for a coup emerges in Canterlot, Twilight must find and gather the Elements and their bearers. But how is this possible, in a world where castes and tribes separate true friendship? In this story, Twilight must discover new friends as she uncovers dark truths and questions about the events leading up to the present-day Equestria. Who was Starlight Glimmer? What was Astrum Nova? And most importantly, how is it possible that the journal was written by another (and for some reason, winged) Twilight?

Eventide Trailblazer is a mare obsessed. While the rest of Equestria shuns the name Sunset Shimmer, she spends her time dwelling on the true story of the mare behind the myth, a story that culminated in a horrible disaster five years ago. Trusting no one but her best friend and her therapist Eventide plots in secret, making plans that will fix things once and for all. But while her intentions might be good, do her plans truly benefit anyone but herself?

Twenty five years prior to Eventide's own plans the object of her obsession returns to Equestria from parts unknown. The end of Twilight's inter-dimensional duel across time with Starlight Glimmer also marks Sunset's unexpected return from CHS, yet when Twilight meets up with her she can barely recognize her friend from the other world. Scared, paranoid and horribly injured, Sunset claims to have spent the last seven weeks of her life trapped in her own inter-dimensional journey, a journey that sounds worryingly familiar to Twilight.

Set directly after cutie re-mark for Twilight chapters and approximately 25 years after season 5 for Eventide. Other Tag is for Flurry Heart.
