In between making friends and saving Equestria, she meets another pony whose orderliness, punctuality, and love of paperwork matches her own: Mayor Mare. But will their love be a match for the Equestrian Civil Service Code, volume 13, chapter 22, paragraph F?

A light-hearted fast-paced romance set after S1E2. Written for the 2024 May Pairings Contest.

Sunset Shimmer is happy and fullfilled. Her life is perfectly normal and okay. She is a human, dating another human, Twilight Sparkle, with plenty of human friends.

But sometimes she wonders of Equestria, a world that spat her out.

But sometimes she wonders of Equestria, a world that didn't need her.

But what if it did?

What if Equestria needed her, permanently? What if her wildest abandoned dreams could come true? What if she had to choose between abandoning the human world, or abandoning Equestria for good?

What if she had to choose between two Twilights?

Pinkie asks for Rarity’s help confessing her feelings to Twilight. Rarity is an avid reader of old romance novels, naturally this means she thinks she knows exactly how to charm a pony.

This can only go wrong.

She was now a zillionaire - her search for pirate treasure bore fruit! The lil' birdie could not hide this ginormous treasure horde in her tiny nest, but her dreams had come true, and her hopes had come to fruition. She was now the richest in all of Ponyland - the bandit now eyes a piece of metal, steel, crystal, bronze, gold, and silver that was recently shined seems increasingly inviting...Oooooh!
