When strange ponies from another world suddenly pony-nap all her friends, Pinkie Pie must find a way to defeat their master all on her own. Blamed for the crime herself, she has no help from Celestia and just about every pony in Ponyville is convinced that she's finally cracked. Who can she possibly find to fill in for the other Elements of Harmony, and help her defeat the ancient evil behind it all?

Dark machinations are at work, and for Rarity, life has taken a turn for the worst. She's now in a place called Ancelstierre on another world, where nopony has ever seen or scarcely even heard of a unicorn before. What dangers lay in wait in this new land of strange magic and mystery? What happened to Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie? More importantly, how does she get back home?

Welcome to the Old Kingdom, my little ponies. Magic works quite differently here...

Carrot Top is baking some muffins but she needs some last minute ingredients so she can finish the final touches on her muffins. Since she doesn't want to leave Derpy Hooves alone, she recruits the help of Lyra and Bon-Bon to keep her at Bay. Will they be able to prevent Derpy from eating the muffins? Or will Derpy have the last laugh?

In search of gems to complete her ornate Nightmare Night costume, Rarity accidentally finds herself transported to a world where a holiday not unlike Nightmare Night is less an event than a way of life - and her friends soon follow in hopes of rescuing her. Or, to put things more lyrically....

It was some time ago, but not too long, you see?
In a place that perhaps you have seen on TV.

For this story spans places far from pedestrian,
Crossing spooky and dark with bright and Equestrian.

Upstart is excited. His mother has hired a unicorn for a party. It will be so delightful to see a unicorn performing magic. It's sure to be fun for the whole household!

Of course, it's just a little fun. She's not really a unicorn. After all, unicorns don't exist.

Unseen horrors lurk just beyond the horizon, but the future is not immutable.

A strange new pony arrives in Canterlot bearing knowledge that could help avoid the dark times ahead. What begins as a straightforward mission soon develops into an adventure that will carry all involved to the borders of Equestria and beyond.

5-star Featured on Equestria Daily... for some reason. I've been meaning to add this disclaimer for a while, and so here it is: this was a first fic of a first-time author, and it really shows. Know that whatever well-founded critique you have to level at it, I will almost certainly agree with. It has problems, of that there is no doubt, and significant enough ones that I'll always be bothered that the story is up. Taking it down feels like bad form, however, and bringing the writing in line with my current standards would require a full rewrite, which would be dishonest to the readers who have been through it already. I leave it up as a badge for having completed something, but just be aware that if you start in on it, you will almost certainly finish bewildered and dissatisfied.

Outer space is a quandary for Celestia. She has existed for a long, long time, but even she doesn't know everything. She owes it to her little ponies though, to protect them from every possible threat that could arise. To that end, she explores far and wide as the years go on. During her everlasting quest for knowledge, she meets somepony she did not expect.

The magician's art lies in the act of misdirection. This is true even in a world where magic exists. Trixie has mastered the art, but how much of her act is true magic, and how much is an illusion? And what if that same question applies to her entire life?
