With books in her eyes, a chipper unicorn comes to the big city of earth ponies, certain that they would be more open to the idea of a grand library than the superstitious unicorns she was leaving behind. She would maybe awaken ancient spirits, or just bring to Manehattan the joy of a good book.

After graduating college, Maya was eager to start her social work career helping disadvantaged youth, but got pulled into the whimsical pony world of Equestria while dressed as Posey Bloom for Halloween. Though now an earth pony herself, she finds purpose using her counseling talents to mentor the Mane 6 ponies. Maya's traumatic childhood left her craving friendship and wonder, which she just might find in this colorful new home.

Izzy is smiling. This is a constant fact, a basic truth of the universe. The sun is warm, snow is cold, and Izzy is smiling. But there's a truth behind that cheerful mask. She smiles because she has to, or so she's sure.

A modern woman ended up in Ponyville and promptly met a familiar background pony. But that idyllic setting was not to be where they stayed. Instead they fell together through a hole between realities. They landed someplace else that wasn't all friendship and rainbows, Everglow.

A well-led life runs into an end. If that was it, it would have been fine, but the forces of the universe were not content, finding another purpose, or perhaps reward, for this being in another world entirely. May she shine gently.
