I was fortunate, but somepony close to me was not. It was hard for me to imagine the loss she felt. It was so difficult. I wish there was more I could have done to comfort her, but my attention was focused elsewhere. Sweetie Belle lost one of her closest friends and she needed me to guide her through the grief and chase away the occasional nightmare. I devoted so much of my time to her that I dared not acknowledge the plague of strange happenings that fell upon Ponyville soon after the accident.

Starlight Glimmer set off to defend Equestria from another ugly threat. She can't see it, can't hear it, but its here. It's here, she's found it, and she's going to destroy it on her own. No matter what it takes.

Turns out Trixie Lulamoon isn't as great and powerful as she says. After the loss of her only friend, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie returns to her caravan. She recalls the death of her mother, and loss of everypony she has cared about. Perhaps her life is a lost cause?

They've forgiven Starlight Glimmer for her past. Despite everything that she had done, they forgave her. It is something wonderful, the power of forgiveness.

It is a shame she can't forgive herself.

(Takes place within the universe of The Sitter with the Diamond Tiara and its semi-sequel A Dazzling School Daze. Familiarity with both is not required, aside from a little bit of context.)

Diamond Tiara has come to a realization of sorts about what her future should be and what sort of career she wants to pursue. A recent experience has convinced her to become a teacher, rather than take over her father's business.

But the young mare finds herself still plagued by uncertainty over her decision, doubts have crept into her mind about who she is and what her career path should really be. So she decides to have a talk with somepony she believes can help clear things up.

Cheerilee is quite surprised to be visited by one of her former students, but nevertheless agrees to hear Diamond out. And Cheerilee's advice and guidance might be just what Diamond Tiara needs to hear.
