With his reformation at the hooves of Fluttershy, friendship for Discord doesn't seem like an impossibility. Now, he tries to regain a friend that he lost ages ago.

It's been just under a month since Twilight has become a princess, and there has been plenty of things she needed to get used to. One of which was the almost daily pranks Discord has tendencies to pull on either her or Princess Celestia, but oddly enough never Luna. Now that she thinks of it, the two of them hardly ever acknowledge each other outside of court or social gatherings. Twilight wants answers for her questions, but the question is will she like the answers she finds?

Princess Luna is trying to find ways to remember the important ponies from her past, but is finding that it is difficult to maintain a perfect recall over the events of a long life.

Then Discord gives her something unexpected to think about.

This was written for the May 2020 Pairing Contest.

Following just after the events of "Make New Friends But Keep Discord" Princess Luna tries to join in the fun but ends up heading back to her room to resume her duties of the night.Feeling as though there is no real point in attending. That is until Discord appears and offers her for a dance.

While performing her duty of tending to ponies' nightmares, the newly returned Princess Luna comes across an acquaintance. A very old, very petrified acquaintance.

Luna missed Discord's return, and now it's time to pay him a visit, after everything changed but him.

Upon being banished to the moon, Nightmare Moon found that she was able to communicate with Discord, also sealed away as a statue.

The two despise one another, but compared to an endless monotony, even two hated foes would rather talk with one another. Over time, Discord and Nightmare Moon begin to fall in love, right up until tragedy strikes.
