After the events of The Friendship Games, Principal Abacus Cinch returns to her office at Crystal Prep, only to find Twilight Velvet waiting for her, and she is not happy.

When a strange black and red alicorn appears in the Everfree Forest, Twilight and the others are sent to investigate.

Unfortunately, this visitor is an incomprehensible mess and quickly drives the girls insane.

Not figuratively, of course, but physically. Cartoon worlds are two dimensional visuals shoved into three, and it makes me ill just looking at it. But life's not all bad. My name’s Marcus. Marcus Cortez. I’m currently a freshman at CUFTA. You don’t know what that means? The prologue for this story starts sixteen years prior to the return of Nightmare Moon and the story's main events take place after Season 3 ends.
