EqG:StH Story Update #15 - Volume III Release Date & New Cover Art · 7:46pm Oct 1st, 2022

Hey Everypony!

It's been a long time coming, but I have good news for you all who's been waiting on my story, EqG: Sonic the Hedgehog. While I'm close to finishing up writing my story, I'm in a comfortable spot to finally announce the release date of Volume III!

I know you are all excited about this! Heck, I'm excited to finally share it with you all!

So what's the release date for the first chapter of Volume III? I'll tell you! The release date for the first chapter of Volume III will be...

October 10th!

Now I'm sure you're all wondering, "Why October 10th? What's so special about that date?" Well my friends, the reason why this particular date is so special is that this will be the two-year anniversary of the official release date of this story here on FiMFiction! So what better way to start Volume III than on the two-year anniversary of this story?

Anyway, the first chapter of Volume III will be posted on Monday evening (where I live anyway) and then the rest of the chapters will be released one at a time every Saturday as normal. So be sure to mark your calendars!

Also, I have another announcement! I'm sure some of you have noticed already, but I recently updated my cover art. While I like the cover art I created two years ago, it always felt out of place to me with the way the cartoonish Equestria Girls clashed with a live-action Robotnik and Sonic. So during my hiatus, I decided to go back and revise the cover art and this is what it looks like now:

Ta-da! Now both Sonic and Dr. Robotnik were redrawn to fit the EqG style. This will be the official cover art for my story from now on. And because there is more than one Movie Sonic/EqG crossover story on this site, I've decided to include my name on the cover art to tell it apart from others.

If any of you missed the old cover art, don't worry, you can find it on my Deviantart page, which is what I have now. I like to draw art from time to time, so if any of you are interested, please come check it out.

And before anyone asks, no, I don't do commissions. Sorry.

So, once again, the first chapter of EqG: StH - Volume III will be released on October 10th! Hope you all looking forward to it!
