Sorry for the delay, folks. 
The reason is that I have some additional enhancements requested by the commissioner, who has to approve them—after I’ve finished them, that is, though it shouldn’t be much longer. At this point, expect something north of 12.5k words, meaning you’ll be getting a very juicy double-decker burger of a chapter with the first half dedicated to finishing Twilight/Midnight’s transformation. Expect it to happen in suitably sensual fashion, with two new fetishes saved for last. Which ones? All The Way Through and Nipple Penetration.
The second half will be an extended coda as, at long last, all our heroines are ascended and they decide what to do with themselves. Here’s a hint—you may be seeing a fleeting echo of their decision in future chapters of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles. Hey, if Hyperdash can use black holes to explore alternate realities, that means she can peer into my other stories as well!
The good news is that once this chapter is out, the epilogue shouldn’t be far behind, with nearly 5k words already down on it. Expect 2-3 sections in it, depending on how ambitious I get. One section will be M-rated, but the other won’t be. Even so, it should still be enjoyable as the girls discuss their post-ascension experiences over burgers including which alternate realities they liked the most and least.
The story thus comes full circle, with our favorite ladies back in the same restaurant they started in (ascended but not appearing as such to others), followed by competing in the band contest mentioned in the opening chapter. Needless to say, the latter is where the M-rated part will come in. 
Thanks for all your indulgence, especially everyone who’s been waiting impatiently for me to get back to Feathered Hearts and Unleash the Magic. I will do my best to reward that patience through the fall as I shift emphasis back over to those two stories.
