A section finished and a small break · 9:56pm Aug 23rd, 2022
The second (or third, depending on how you look at it) section of my story is, at last, finished. I apologize for the delay.
I have been feeling rather exhausted over the last week and it, unfortunately, started affecting my motivation to write. Just need some rest and I'll be right as rain.
Now, on to the reason for this blog.
It has been bugging me for a while now, but I have found myself constantly looking over previous parts of my story in order to check a few things here and there just so I can keep things straight (fur colour, behaviour, etc). It is annoying, to say the least, especially with my lack of experience with storytelling, and, well, it's time I fixed this.
I'll be taking a small break (a month at the most I hope), to sort everything out, run over my story a few times and maybe even smooth some things out (I'm fairly happy with how I did it so far, but there is always room for improvement), as well as fix the blunder I put myself in.
And just to quell any fires before they start, the story WILL continue. I fully intend to finish it, but as I said, it is a learning process for me (and I am a slow learner I'm afraid). I mentioned it in a few comments but I'll confirm it here for everyone's sake: this story will go until Nightmare Moon's return, the Ponyville Summer Sun Celebration, and the return of the Elements. After that, I am not certain. I always did have an 'idea' of a sequel but... eh, I'll see when I get there. I'll probably do it just cause I really like telling stories (even though I am a fairly messy writer if anyone asked me).
In either case, I'll see you all soon.

I forgot to follow you and I was starting to wonder about when the next chapter is coming out glad to see it's not been abandoned take care and have a good break.
I hope that you be able to start again soon because you are writing a really good story and I want to see it to the end.

No intention of stopping in the first place, I should have a chapter for tomorrow or Monday at the least but it will be there.
