Accepting change - my decision for future · 3:00pm Oct 22nd, 2023
I want to keep this short.
The story will soon be one-third done... And I want to take a longer break to sort out a few things.
My own amateurish choices are catching up to me and I have to fix it (like finally finishing the character list so that I don't have to re-read entire chapters when my brain 'decides' to just forget some things).
That being said, I want to put the story on a 'hiatus' once I finish this section, sort things out, and then the story will return. I'll post a few things, like the character list so that people can keep up without needing to struggle to remember, as well as some extra stuff (like, for example, how minotaurs normally carry small crests on a chain around their necks for spiritual and legal reasons). Nothing mind-blowing or anything like that, just a bit more practice while I get my weird brain in order.
After the break though, the story will be more of a 'slice-of-life' for a bit until some events come up a~nd... yeah.
Still not sure about the 'cannon' future though.
Only 1/3 complete so far?! Wow!! That’s a lot of story planned out. That’s exciting.
I do wonder if MC will remember that there’s a timeline he derailed eventually once the present situation starts to settle… if it ever does. Hard to imagine how that will ripple effect and change things. Hopefully the Mane Six will still be born, but maybe that’s a part of the rest of the story?
Cadence may make an entrance soon, too, speaking of changes.
:v
just remember that if during that hiatus you decide not to finish it at all please pop back in and lete us know
too many stories just get abandoned with no warning and no way to know when or if they will resume, thank you for at least being considerate enough to warn us of this hiatus though it is greatly appreciated.
thanks for all your hard work and i hope the break does you good.
I can’t wait to see what you do with the story in the future. And I hope everything goes well for you.
You've written so much, you deserve a break; and time for recollection.
