We’ll start with Harmonic Resonance first. In short, I’m making it official: The climactic Twilight chapter of Harmonic Resonance is being broken up again, as it will take a three-parter to complete and do justice. I expect the chapter draft of part 2 to be finished within the next day, so you can expect at least a 9k chapter sometime in the next week. How fast it’s out will depend on how fast I can get feedback from prereaders and the commissioner back on it.
Seriously, folks. I’m sorry for the endless cocktease there, but I think you’ll understand why once you read it. Suffice it to say, Midnight and Twilight have some issues to work through even in the midst of a very M-rated ascension. And quite frankly, I need to get the second part of this released for the sake of my own sanity, given how hard it’s been to write at times. Not to say it’s not been enjoyable, but I’ve found I can only work on it a little at a time just because there’s so much happening within it. But you’ll see in due course.
As for C&C, chapter 27 is draft complete and in prereads as of last night, getting a good initial review from AJA. Titled Escape to Aricia - Part 1, It will launch this weekend as promised, so expect nearly 12k of human/griffie goodness to be dropped in your feeds this Sunday morning. I’m also thinking about making a map to describe the action of the chapter again, but whether I do or not depends on whether I find the time this Saturday. Which may be difficult given continuing work on Harmonic Resonance as well.
Apologies again for the long wait on Feathered Hearts, folks. Just hold on; it’s nearly time for Gilda to shine not so much in terms of combat but command ability. She wondered if she was truly ready for her rank? This is the chapter that says that she is.
So to recap: expect a new C&C chapter on Sunday morning, followed by HR - Twilight, Part 2 most likely within a couple days after. And looking even further ahead, expect more of each story to follow within a week or two as the next chapters for both stories already have 5-8k of words down.
