Major villain redeemed, and now onto something new! · 2:10am Jul 28th, 2022
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ "TIREK VS SCORPAN" YET!!!
Well, I did it! I finally redeemed Tirek! It's something I've had in mind for a while now, since around the time I got to starting FHS and I was just typing up long summaries of the plot. I really wanted to use Scorpan and I thought it would be epic if he and his brother had a kaiju duel, but most importantly was getting Tirek to be reformed. I used to be one of the people who thought Tirek would never change in the show and would just die a villain, but then we saw him show a softer side in the "Frenemies" episode. Of course it was all thrown away when the Trio were just turned to stone at the end without being given a chance at redemption. I still feel so sad when I rewatch the scene of them being petrified. That's why I made some lore to explain why Discord thought they should be turned to stone in "Dream of Alicornication". I don't believe he and the princesses would have really wanted that for them. Discord was given a second chance so he would have been more open-minded about it, and you can't convince me Celestia and Luna (another reformed villain) would be okay with that. The mention of how Tirek wanted so badly to please his father was also further proof that there's got to be a way to get to him, so I relied heavily on the events of the "FIENDship is Magic" comic about Tirek's past.
Well I hope that provided a good depiction of Tirek coming to his senses. The end with the tree being planted was also an idea I was itching to use, and who better to plant it than the one who destroyed the original tree before? The "clubhouse" will definitely have good use in later chapters, but for now, it needs some time for renovations before the kids get to hang out in it. :)
Now on to the next story. If you've read the synopsis, you know this one is going to delve into some G1 material that I've decided to canonize for FHS. We finally see Night Shade make his appearance and yes, Zeb the Zebra will be in it too as his sinister manager. They'll be a little different from their G1 incarnations and the plot will be very different from the "Bright Lights" episode in G1, but I think you'll like the route I go with them. It's going to be interesting to write Night Shade with what I have planned for him. As you may know, G1 Night Shade was supposedly inspired by Michael Jackson, but didn't really look or sound like him so I've decided to make him more like MJ with his appearance and style. I'll show some pics later. This episode won't be a huge action-packed story like the last one, but it will be a great slice-of-life episode and I am glad to use a story that focuses on Flurry and Pumpkin's friendship. Heck, it feels good to just write a story that uses Pumpkin in general since she hasn't had any stories that center on her yet. Same goes for Pound.
Oh, and then the story after that, "Go North Young Dragon"...boy that one's gonna blow people's minds! XD

Ok I'm actually pretty excited for this especially seeing some of the old generation characters that I kind of wish to see them in G4 but maybe there's hope for G5 but that's a different story but still this is pretty exciting to see can't wait
Although ever since Capper made his appearances in the 2017 movie I was hoping another cat character like Catrina from g1 and rep the original shapeshifter now I do not know any of those characters but I did see a couple of videos of them but whatever your decision go for it
