Things have been complicated.

Okay so there hasn't been a new chapter in a month now because things around here have gotten complicated. Some people I know went on a motorcycle road trip recently and it was the road trip from hell. Bad bike chain, bad repair shop, flat tire in the middle of nowhere, multi-hundred dollar towing bill, road trouble, wildfires, barely missing 90+ degress weather. I don't even think that was all of it, that's just what I can remember of it. I had to basically be phone tech support for them looking for hotels and stuff, making sure there were gas stations ahead. And then when they get home I go and meet them in person, you know give them a hug, day or two later they test positive for Covid.

I don't write well when I'm stressed and so rather than trying to force it I just haven't written in the last month and I'm sitting in quarantine right now wondering if I caught Covid or not. I'm vaxxed and boosted so it'll be fine and they'll be fine whatever happens, but it's just really stressful.

I need things to calm down before I get back to writing.
