    Update Tonight

    Hey everypony,

I'm back. And back writing too. I've finally found some energy and inclination to get back into writing, and have managed to hash out three more chapters of 'Crossing the Rubicon'. Expect sporadic updates, starting tonight.

    New Year, New Problems

    Hello everypony,

I hope you all had a great Christmas and decent start to the new year. I figured it made sense to update you on what's going on at the moment.

Well, my new year hasn't exactly got off on the best of starts. I'm going to be starting a new job next week, and it means that I'm finally going to move out and have my own place.

    Coming Next Friday

    Good news!

No, it's not the Dacia Sandero, but I have finally got a new story to publish. For those of you who enjoyed 'Tinker, Tailor, Pony, Spy', I hope you'll enjoy the sequel.

As to more pony related matters, I am still working on my next story. I've settled into writing a sequel to 'Tinker, Tailor, Pony, Spy' and am currently working my way through chapter four. I'm afraid I've had to shelve my idea for a fic about mailponies. Turns out writing about a job that stresses you out on a daily basis isn't exactly good for your mental health. I have a few ideas planned out though, if anypony fancies having a bash at it, and I'd be happy to pass along my notes.

Work on my newest story though is slow going. My job is pretty draining, physically and mentally, and with a joke of a pay deal and the possibility of industrial action in the coming weeks, I have to pick up all the overtime I can. I am still working on it though, and once I have six chapters written, I hope to start publishing, though I can't guarantee an update schedule like I normally would. The story is all planned out though, so I promise it will get finished.

Anyway, to my fellow redcoats, citizens of the Commonwealth and our overseas territories around the world, I hope you all had a great time and enjoyed the celebrations.

Now we just have to figure out what to do when she reaches the next milestone. What comes after platinum? :rainbowlaugh:

Elizabeth has been queen longer than I've been alive. (I'm a Baby Boomer, so not a lot longer, but longer.)

How old is she?

She's older than talking motion pictures. Using records to play sound with movies predates full length movies. Sound & pictures on one device dates to August 6, 1926 although The Jolsen Story was 1927

She's older than radio networks. CBS was founded January 21. 1927.

She predates the first transatlantic flight Lindbergh, May 20, 1927

She's NOT "the greatest thing since sliced bread". Machine sliced bread was first sold commercially on July 9, 1927

She predates Sci-fi Hugo Gernsbeck coined the term "scientifiction" in Spring, 1928. Previously, the genre was called "scientific romances

She' older than Mickey Mouse.
November 18, 1928

In short, she's OLD.
Next stop, the centennial.

:trollestia:

Im happy to see she is keeping up with true British traditions of knowing Why a monarch has a fool.

Although I am sad that certain aircraft were missing from the flypast. Two due to too much paperwork, one through paperwork and exhaustive refbishment. There was one aircraft that is currently flying and available that wouldve been perfect to lead the flight parade though.

How much more British aircraft can you get than Little Nellie?

True Q.
