This was good. Not perfect...but good.
This is the Star Trek spirit that I feel like we've been missing. No joke, by the end of the episode, I was actually smiling.
When they first announced this show, I told myself that I'd be fully willing to forgive any connections to Discovery as long as the writing for this one is actually good in its own right. Well, I don't want to jinx it early, but...so far so good, is what I say.
