200 Followers!

“Cool!” I said. “200 followers! What a way to celebrate the new update to the site. And there are those chapter-moving buttons, and, hmm. . . what’s this button that looks like a door?”

As I clicked on the new icon, everything flashed, and I found myself looking at an ornate hallway, reminiscent of Celestia’s castle. From my speakers I heard a dark laugh and saw a shadow gather.

“King Sombra?”

“Yes. So you have 200 followers. Do you think that makes you any good? You’re nowhere near the top authors.”

“Wow, you talk a lot here. I know I’m not at that level. But those other authors probably have more talent and work harder. I’ll just keep plugging away.”

The dark glow from Sombra’s horn intensified.

“But you know that none of them really like you. It’s not like you’re really friends. They only want you for your stories.”

“Even if they weren’t there, I’d still like writing the stories. It’s nice to know that my work is appreciated,” I said.

He laughed, and my screen darkened almost completely.

“Foolish human, do you think I cannot see into your heart? You really think that if you get enough friends, that somewhere you’ll find your very special somepony?

I couldn’t move my head to the left or right, but I could close my eyes, and I did.

“Maybe I won’t. Maybe I won’t ever find anyone. But you won’t make me afraid of it. You can make my worst nightmares. . . but you can’t make them come true!”

There was another flash of light, and my computer was restored to its former state.

“I miss when we were allowed to post meta-stories,” I said.

Don't worry about finding your special somepony, I've been single all my life (I turn fifteen in two months) and I'm okay with it.

Being in a relationship is overrated, take it from someone was in one, but if you ever do get lucky and find that special somepony, grab hold and never let go. There is no reason to fret over it though, let things happen by being yourself and things will fall into place, but don't be afraid of being assertive (of course, that involves having tact as well ).

598687 I think they're trying to stall and hope that it goes away. They banned them in June. If it's not restored by next June, I'll ask nicely what's going on.
