Modified my favorite casual music headphones.

I originally bought my Koss KSC75x on Amazon because of Drop.com's slow shipping...
But it is no longer available on there.
So when my cable went out, I had flashbacks to my DIY removable cable mod for my kingston hypercloud 2s...

I followed this gentleman's guide, but with my own twists.

I bought the necessary parts (female connector, headband, earpads)
from Amazon because I'm more familiar with them.

On the right is a modified set of the clips it normally comes with, with another cable taped to them. On the left is a headband that just happens to fit them; with a Bluetooth receiver I added... because why not...

The soldering was... rough. I have shaky hands and not all that great of vision. It was nearly 30 to 45 minutes of cussing and screaming.... for EACH of the 4 speakers I did. The solder point for the middle is so small, and I kept crossing solder from the middle to the shell... which would cause a short.

But it was ALL worth it; I am so happy with how it turned out.
And then I decided it wasn't enough...
So I grabbed an old Bluetooth receiver I had lying around and shortened a spare mmcx cable I had.
The Koss KSC75x don't sound much different from the KSC75 original.
And they sound surprisingly good for lightweight headphones.
I love them because I can wear them on both ears at work and still hear things around me.

Don't mind the Xbox screen... the MLP background was just something I wanted in a picture or two.

Now all it needs is some MLPifying...
