Let's get a little serious here. · 2:46pm Mar 22nd, 2022
Hey all... I know there aren't very many of you, and this might not be the update you're hoping for, but there's been a few things that have been eating at me recently.
I'm going to talk about the most important one here.
Ukraine. I'm not sure how familiar you all are with what's happening to the people there, but I'm willing to bet that most of you are at least aware of the war, the... Russo-Ukrainian War, I believe it's been called, which started with a Russian invasion of Ukraine in February of this year.
The Ukrainian people are standing strong, and... it might be looking like a stalemate, as they've stalled the Russian advance. Eight or nine Russian generals have also been killed, last I heard at least.
And the worst thing for me personally at least, is that America, my country that I'm proud to be a citizen of, just... can't help. At least not directly.
The reason being... well, that could very easily put America into direct nuclear engagement with Russia. And if that happens... well... you can guess the rest.
The best thing I can do for the Ukrainian people is pray... and donate what I can afford. Like I said, there aren't many of you, but I'm going to try and link several donation links down here. These donation links can help the Ukrainian people in their fight against Putin's regime.
Even now as I'm typing this, Russian missiles are being launched indiscriminately into Ukrainian population centers. This is not just a conventional war between armies, the Ukrainians are literally fighting for their lives. Men, women, children... all citizens.
So... please, if you can afford it, please donate what you can to these brave men and women as they fight with everything that they have. If you can't afford to donate... that's okay. Please spread the word, and pray for the people that are suffering as Putin tries to expand his borders, in order to go down in Russian history as a conqueror.
That's... all I really wanted to say. I'm trying to help as much as I can, and... this was one of the ways I felt I could.
