Whew... so, before I start... I owe you all an apology.
It's been... at least a year, possibly more since I've updated Guardian Angel And... that's just not fair to you guys!
So... consider this my Christmas gift to you all! It was... one of the toughest chapters I had to write in my life. Not only because I wrote like... half of it a year ago.
Nightmares... those are nothing but nightmares! So, if there's a random jump in style or quality... well, that's why! As my writing style changes and evolves... this may continue to happen.
Now, I know what you're all thinking.
'Is it going to be another year before you finally finish the story?'
No! It is not!
Maybe a month... I'm ridiculously busy with my new job, which I recently moved 300 miles to work at...
Yeah, I moved. That's another reason this took so long... wow. Lot's of stuff happened this year actually...
I might give a fully fledged update here at some point but, long story short, quit one job, took a month to not work, then moved 300 miles, started a new job, and adjusted to the new place for about a month, and here I am!
The job I have isn't as soul-crushing as my previous one, so, I'm optimistic!
I still don't want to make guarantees though. I hate disappointing you all.
But that's enough of that. Enjoy the newest chapter! It's... the longest chapter I've written, and has one of the most complicated scenes I've ever had the joy of writing. Just ignore that it actually came out the day after Christmas... it's currently 3 in the morning, but I really just wanted to get it out for you all. Please, enjoy! Or don't, but I would love criticism! And once again, Merry Christmas!
