Futurama's Third Return · 8:16am Mar 21st, 2022
So what are your thoughts on this? I have mixed feelings. The second return of Futurama had some good episodes. But also really awful ones like the Futurama Holiday Spectacular. I dare say it's the worst Futurama episode ever. Like what the hell were they thinking?
Third time's the charm, I guess. Let's hope it lasts more than two years this time. On a side note, I am working on a new MLP FIM/Futurama crossover.
I'm just glad that John DiMaggio eventually agreed to come back!
Beyond that, I'm ... cautiously hopeful.
I liked the ways the ended it, Fry finishing his Holophonor opera for Leela, flying into the Wormhole and Fry and Leela stepping into the time tunnel.
They were all statisfying endings, with the last one feeling... final.
I'll definitely watch the first episode of the new revival when it comes to Disney Plus (Australia doesn't get Hulu and D+ is where I re-watched the old eps before they announced the latest revival).
