Fun Police People? · 11:48am May 1st
Just think about it, you and a couple of friends are watching classic South Park or something edgy. And then, some person comes who's not even a fan of it, demands changes (censorship) or outright turns off the program. Just why do people do this? Why do they ruin everyone's fun?
Arguing is fun. I'm not convinced that all of these people even care one way or the other, they just want an argument as an end in itself.
maybe we should just kill the fun police, with guns, theb maybe they will think twice about it
oh wait , they will be to dead to care!
This is the society we live in today, where people can't crack jokes anymore, for fear of some random person getting offended and publicly cancelling them
Here is the only correct thing to do in that situation... you turn around, look at them, then tell them to shut the fuck up, and fuck the fuck off, if they don't want to watch it, then they can go suck a fat one, you and your friends are allowed to watch that anywhere you want.
Reminds me of how angry parents always go and try to force content creators to change their style of content on YT for their kids watching them because it's 'inappropriate.' Like, I'm sorry but it's not the creator's job to babysit your kid. That's the parent's job. And why should they ruin the fun for everyone else who's mature enough to handle the content just to accommodate one person who is immature not to?
😂 you probably already know why. Some people just want conflict, and some don't like seeing other people having a better time than them. But I like to think that only you can ruin your fun, and if you just ignore what anyone else thinks and do what you feel like doing it doesn't matter who tries to get involved.

It's the same people who won't watch their own crotch biscuits and instead plops them down in front of the talky box while they go post selfies up in instagram or tinder or whatever. They then insist that it's the stuff clearly not made for kids is the reason why their kids are acting the fool.

I'd tell them it's my goddamn house and my goddamn TV, I can watch whatever I want, and that they have 2 options: 1) They can walk out the front door of their own volition, or 2) I can lawn dart'em off my porch.

A-freaking-men to that.

And is it the child who's immature, or the parent?

YES.
People just forget to mind their own business and forget the expression, time and place.
Don't get me wrong people can do what they want, but there is a time and a place for everything.
At a public library: probably not wise to watch there.
At your own home: watch away
At your own home, only one tv and kids are around: probably best till kids leave or go to bed.
I don't know about you but if someone turned off what I was watching the door would hit them on the way out.
