Question of the Week #47 · 3:45am Mar 2nd, 2022
Hello everyone and welcome to the Question of the Week. It is the 1st of March and hopefully the weather will continue to improve her in Spokane.
A while back I had asked if perhaps I should go through a redesign of my OC, Robipony. This week's question is, what would be a good pony name for Robipony?
Now I figure it would probably help if I provided some information on him. For the most part his appearance (aside from the eyepatch and the parasitic tendril that was shown attached to his back in one picture), his appearance will remain roughly the same. He will definitely be keeping the gray scarf.
Backstorywise, Robipony used to work as a speaker for a horror themed radio program, but due to the channel's low revenue, Robipony was laid off. After this he would take up his hoof at writing and while he wasn't the greatest author, he did reasonably well.
Robipony has a fear of crowds (Enochlophobia) to the point of receiving panic attacks, so he will often avoid crowded places, though being with friends and family does leviate this problem slightly. While he is quiet at first, once he has opened up to somepony else he will often joke and tease them, though he will always strive to keep it jovial (however the fact that he can tease others with a straight face can get him in trouble at times). While he would like to have a marefriend and get married someday, his reclusive nature does make this difficult.
His hobbies include writing, drawing as well as playing Ogres and Oubliettes with his friends (and on a rare occasion taking on the role of the game master). He also enjoys heavy rock music and anything with a good beat, but usually isn't fond of country music. He also LOVES cats, he just thinks they are so cute, while having a slight fear/respect for dogs and diamond dogs. Completely despises the smell of cigarette smoke as he feels like he is suffocating when he breathes it in and it makes him angry (having bronchitis twice in your youth will do that to you).
While it is easy to become friends with Robipony (just talking and being nice to him will do it), once his trust is broken it is difficult to regain it, especially if that breach of trust involved lying to him or gossiping about him behind his back.
One of his greatest fears revolves a reoccurring dream that seems to randomly occur since childhood. In it he finds himself on a hill overlooking a burning city. Somehow in the dream he knows that it's the end of the world and that he is at least somewhat responsible. Then a great shadow looms over him and when he looks up to see what is causing it, he wakes up.
I think that's the jist of it.
So now that that's thrown out there, can any of you think of any fitting pony names for Robipony?

I am so bad at naming things... I think I ended up naming my avatar Cinnamon Toast because he was red like a cinnamon red hot candy, even though cinnamon toast isn’t actually red.
