The Israel/Gaza Situation Has Me Broken

Ignore if you hate this topic. I avoid social media, and I'd rather rant here than the hellhole that is Twitter :rainbowlaugh:

    Already on Step 4

Check this out if you have zero clue what I'm talking about haha.

Did bodyweight squats in front of my physical therapist, and they were good!! Super smooth, great range of motion, and zero tightness for the first few sets. This puts me on step 4 out of 5.

Plan to Cross the Finish Line

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to

Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel

After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!

I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.

    Almost Done Beating Genetics

Ughhhhhh why can't I be 100% done, though :raritydespair:

Alright, so despite basically every joint having issues at first, I can minimize the major starting issues to:
    - Right hip tear + instability
    - Left hip tear + instability
    - Left shoulder instability
    - Right shoulder instability

The two bolded ones were the biggest issues. As of now, I have:

Genetics: Two Epic Challenges Completed · 10:58pm Jan 27th, 2022

I should've posted this with my last blog about dumbbell rowing 160lbs for reps. Anyway, here are two challenges that I recently did that I'm super proud about:

1. Doing 224 push ups with my feet on top of the highest couch of my house. Why 224? Because my weight at that moment was 223.6 or 223.8 lbs. I forgot which. It's a weight x reps challenge that gets significantly harder the heavier you are. And putting your feet on top of a high couch makes each push up a lot harder than a regular one of the floor.

Obviously I didn't do them all in a row lol. They were all done as quickly as possible, but I forgot to keep track of time since that wasn't part of the challenge.

2. Doing 100 total lunges on each leg off the highest couch in my house holding 120lbs. It's a pretty simple challenge. Hold two 60lbs dumbbells and do 10 sets of 10 reps for lunges on each leg as quickly as you can. The fact that you have to do the 100 reps twice is what really makes this one suck :rainbowlaugh:

Anyway, just wanted to share since they were super fun to do. As for what challenges I want to do next:

1. One arm push up
2. Human flag

Both at a minimum of 220lbs. Well, guess it's time to die :rainbowlaugh:
