Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel · 7:00am Jun 2nd, 2023
After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!
I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.
Saying 80% feels too low, but 90% feels too high haha. I still can't sprint, fight or dance hard without issues, but I can see the finish line!! My goal was to be done with this nonsense by my 30th bday. I turn 29 soon, so hopefully I can hit my target within a year. I'm still pissed I lost my 20s to this, but I still have the rest of my life to make up for it haha!
Honestly, dealing with this and putting more time into fixing it took me away from writing/drawing, but I fully intend on getting back to it soon. It's sorta hard to concentrate on being creative if you're in pain
Also, random but I recently did a girl push up.... a one arm girl push up! Haha. I seriously want to do a full one arm push up soon at over 200lbs.
