Alternate title: Combinatorics of G5 clop
In a Discord yesterday, I got to wondering how many times each G5 character fucks each other G5 character. So I did some analyses. First up, I searched "#mlp-g5 #mature #sex" and got 59 stories. Because stories aren't reliably tagged, and the G5 tag appeared after stories began, it's likely I missed a few.
I then looked at each story's landing page individually (I didn't have time to read them all) and added the sexual pairing(s) to a spreadsheet. For instance, in my story "Queen's Gambit," one count was added to each pairing Hitch/Zipp, Hitch/Pipp, Hitch/Haven, Pipp/Zipp, but not Pipp/Haven nor Zipp/Haven. If you've read my story, you know Haven didn't screw either of her kids, but Zipp and Pipp did have sex with each other.
I may have gotten some details wrong because I didn't read every story, but the tags and long description should be good enough. Masturbation stories counted as, for instance, Haven/Haven. Other or OC/Other or OC is not necessarily masturbation — it could be two background ponies having sex, or a background pony getting raped by a unicorn entrapment device.
For stories that didn't tag characters and looked to only be incidentally G5, I didn't count them. A story has Sunny getting fucked by two guards; I'm counting that as a single point to Sunny/Other-OC. Similarly, where Pipp or Sunny get raped by a crowd, that counts as one Other or OC count. Sometimes I had to take guesses; one story is tagged Zipp and Pipp, so I incremented that number by one, but it said in the description the Pipp peed on a pippsqueak, but didn't tag OC or other, so I took a guess and incremented Pipp/Other-OC by one. Another story was tagged "Izzy, Sunny, Pipp, Zipp, Alphabittle," so I incremented all the Izzy pairings by one, based on the description.

- Zipp/Pipp is the most common pairing. (Stay classy, Fimfic)(Not that I didn't contribute, LOL)
- Izzy/Sunny is the next most common
- Hitch/Sunny and Hitch/Pipp are also quite common

That makes me wonder what's the breakdown by fetish. I've seen G5 already got all the fimfic evergreens like futa, rape, foalcon, watersports, and diapers. Also incest (obviously).

It's likely to die down a bit once the show starts up and other characters share enough scenes to demonstrate chemistry. Because yes, we have a notional "Mane 5" but the movie only really gave main character status to those two.
I guess my G5 fic was technically Pipp/Hitch, but also Pipp/Pipp since there’s no actual sex between those two. I’ve also seen it added in Zipp/Hitch and Sunny/Hitch groups so it’s up to readers’ interpretations.
Also I guess mine was the first watersports fic featuring Hitch.
Could've guessed all the top ones just by watching the show, except Zipp and Pipp; that one kinda surprised me.
