First off, let me say I knew that the title was pretty click-baity, but even I was expecting it to become a Heated fic! I haven't had that little tag on anything I've written since 2014 (If that was even a thing back then. I just remember the fic being on the top of the box for a week). Back then, I also didn't practice thanking every favorite. Let's just say, even though I wrote this fic rather quickly so I'd have some more time to work on Electro Swing, I wasn't quite expecting the response despite knowing full well that the title itself is almost disgustingly click-baity. Again, apologies for that one.

Current mood while trying to write Chapter 16 and respond to my FimFic notifications.
So, in the strive for full transparency for the readers of AU:AP, I've adjusted a few lines towards the end of the story. Nothing much changed content-wise, but decided that I might've let my corporate cynicism leak a bit too much into the ending, and leaving a bit of a bad taste in some folks' mouths. It amounted to just a few pronoun changes to make Celestia the more progressive of the princesses since she's the one who has been around the past thousand years and a little idea from Tatsurou about the magic perhaps focusing a bit too much on transforming Pommel Granite in her performance. I hope you don't mind the post-release edits to tweak the edges a bit. Even if I set out to write a simple story to tide readers over until the next chapter of Elecro Swing. If someone is gonna take the time to point out a small change that doesn't ultimately change the outcome, I'm open to hearing it.
At the end of the day, this story is only having fun with the gender-bender and X Becomes an Alicorn tropes. Not to say I haven't enjoyed the occasional LGBTQ+ story, I just don't face such struggles as an ace. The worst I get is my parents wanting grandkids and asking me about it and if I have started dating anyone yet from time to time.
Though if you'll pardon the recommendation, I do enjoy this cute little comic on Webtoon.
I do wish it would update more frequently, but I digress...
As far anyone's personal takes on what I write, all I can say is I write what I write in good faith. I cannot worry about people's own interpretations, it's the Internet after all. You can read any meaning you want. However, if something comes across as needlessly mean-spirited, I am not against giving it another look if it's an easy fix. Other than that, I can only do my best to tell you a story. Let me give you an example:
This is my best performer on the site, Forbidden Melodies. This one could easily be read with the intent of getting angry at the decision made by Celestia, Octavia, or both. I actually do agree with both takes of (Story Spoliers ahead) saving art from the ill-intentions of their creators and the problematic washing of troubling history, but the Silent-verse deals with the aftermath of Gloria Celestia, and sometimes there isn't a good answer.
As far as AU:AP, I will say nothing more on the matter as, the way I see it, I did my best to write a silly gender-bender story. I see no point in arguing with purposely aggressive people who want to analyze it for a deeper meaning or weaponize such content. I am both a Christian who grew up around religious people and someone who loves those around me regardless of X or Y thing a person categorizes themself as. This shouldn't be a mutually exclusive thing, but it unfortunately is much of the time. For me, it's enough that you are you and you deserve to be loved. I know I miss the hugs of my family and friends being half a world away from them now in Japan. That being said, I know how one can wield words of an ideology against another, and I refuse to engage in it with bad faith actors. If you wish to continue to engage in anti-human behavior, the block button is at my disposal for a reason.
