"Imposing Sovereigns" Challenge Report: Unleash the Magic · 5:10pm Oct 21st, 2021
Blog Number 160: "Clash of Principles" Edition
In defiance of the year so far, I'm finally getting back into my productive groove. Not perfectly, alas, but enough to complete a second entrant for the Imposing Sovereigns contest.
The fate of this one interests me a lot, for many reasons:
- It's the first time I've taken an EqG-exclusive character (in this case, Abacus Cinch) and written about their pony equivalent (largely in an attempt to make her a more complex/interesting character than in canon).
- It involves some fan ideas I've had dancing around the back of my head for months/years (I just haven't had an outlet for them before).
- It's a more dedicated attempt to flesh out the history of Equestria into something approaching "My Very Own Version Of The Timeline".
- And it's pretty much my unambiguous admission that I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket this time around.
So yeah, assuming nothing terrible happens, I might create more. How many, I don't know... 
Probably not all that many, I guess. We'll have to wait and see.
