I am working on a second-person story, but 'you' are a named character. In the story, you are Lyra Heartstrings, with three humans getting intimate with you. It's a very simple story. No Anon/human in sight. Plus, you are the pony getting made love to.
Moving that aside, I know that second person is generally hated by a lot of people. But if you are actually a named character in the story? Does it get the same degree of hate, or what? You can't use 'Anon' as a stand-in as 'you' when you are Twilight Sparkle for example.
Story sounds cool.
From the small bits I've seen, people tend to hate on the name Anon more than anything else, viewing it as lazy.

There are lots who like Anon too. So, it's not all bad.
I have no problem with second person as long as the story in well written, or at the very least entertaining(the cardinal sin any piece of entertainment can commit is to be boring). I generally have no problem with Anon, he's usually an author insert character.
I have no issue with "Anon" as my brain just replaces it with another name like "Jared" when I read such stories.
Instead of Anon, you shall be known as... Aaron!

Honestly, "Anon" never bothered me. It's a perfectly cromulent stand-in for a name in dialogue for HIE, or a self-insert, regardless of the narrative POV.
Although my Anon tends to be the ShoutingIsFun version of the character architype.

I think Anon is quite useful for non-serious stories. Stories that you wrote for fun. Not some grand epic tale. I personally find his name amusing. Unfortunately, we have quite a lot of people with a stick up their ass who seems to despise Anon with a passion for some reason.
My Anon tends to be a lot of things. Sometimes he's a pushover, other times he's a chad. And sometimes he's just an idiot trying to take on a God pony, who he somehow defeats by petting her or something.
