There's been a lot of negativity lately. But what do you love about fimfiction?
The main reason I love this site is that it is my one-stop shop for sapient interspecies romance for human x pony stories. I'm sure there are other sites I could find such a thing, but not so much in the human x pony department. The site has really nice saucy stories overall. There are even dark and edgy stories if I want to read them.
The overall community is nice. But just like every community, there are always a few idiots that try ruin it. I don't think any where is safe from these people.
I don't really like much about this website so I might leave soon, i'm going to transfer all my stories to offprint!

I can write stories that I love to see and hopefully make people laugh, cry or both. I just love writing, so thats why I love it here
The stories it use to be the diversity but sadly as it grown so did the rift more bullies joined and ruined it

I do love some of the insane people on here, though, since they're great entertainment.
As someone who's only been here a few months, I couldn't exactly tell yo what I love about this site, I guess the good people I want to try and befriend and support are what I love about this site, because without it, I probably wouldn't have heard of them.
The site is generally pleasant to read from, the color vs text is not an affront to god (like some other websites that will not be named) on the eyes and it was the first fanficiton site I wrote on under a different name. The human x pony stuff is great too, but it's also where I met my best friend.

Believe it or not, I heard about Fimfiction through Dustykatt, the manliest Brony who occasionally showed up on Bronies React on YouTube. I didn't get a direct recommendation, I just heard him say FiMFiction, and curiosity got the better of me. I checked out several stories without an account, and I really enjoyed most of the stories here, even the sexual, and very strange stories that got an honest chuckle or two out of me.
Plus, I've been meaning to delve into FiM for a long time, but I was a closet brony during that time, meaning I appreciated and loved the show and the fandom where no one could judge me officially.

Think I came across "mares are too easy" and found it incredibly funny, one of the first things I read coming back to the site, the rest was history as I skimmed through and began reading a lot of your stuff
Where else does one find fluffy humanxpony romances? I love me some wholesome stories. I love me some comedy stories too. With all the bleakness being broadcast, a little happiness goes a long way.
Do wish there was more Pony Sunset x Human romances though. Think theres maybe one that I've found?

i like the free speech group and the unsafe space, i like engaging im banter in those groups i feel less criticized for my views then if i went on facebook or other people places

I was happy to make that group. It's fun to talk more freely without someone constantly telling you to stop talking about something.
As for the other group. I join on and off that one.
The stories, well most of them. Even the bad stories are pretty entertaining. And most of the community, they seem to have their heads screwed on right and get it, this site is about writing and reading stories about multicolored talking anthropomorphized and anthropomorphic magical ponies.

Yeah, just some bad apples seem very loud. They are few in number.
There are lots of good ponyfics, and as you said, there are some bad fics that are still fun to read.
The incredible imaginations of all these authors (yourself included). My stories are pretty mundane slice of life stories, but some of you folks have written stories that should sit on the same shelves as The Lord of the Rings, and The Chronicles of Narnia. I mean, rich, detailed worlds with wild characters, and even if it weren't MLP based I'd read them until my eyes bled because they're just that good!
I love the imagination and creativity of the writers here. There are some really great stories, that, if they weren't fanfics, could legitimately be published. There is so much talent here and I can only wish all the best to the great authors on this site. After reading some great stories (yours included Bendy) it made me want to polish my writing skill again. I already have 4 stories I may potentially upload to here thanks to the inspiration of the various authors I follow.

My stories mostly made for the lolz. My stories however are not total trollfics either for the most part. Somewhere in between.
There are some epic stories here. And the user base is rather diverse in opinions. It's not like an echo chamber here. Nor is it completely toxic either. We just have crazies running around, but they are small and insignificant.
And of course, lots of wholesome human x pony stories.

That's great news. I'll try to keep an eye out for them. My advice is to seek out some help if need be. Like an editor or a proofreader if you are unsure about your story.

Sorry, but I can't write romance for the life of me without it sounding cringy. I am however staying close to the giant/tiny theme though. The first three stories are a trilogy of sorts and the last is a spinoff of that.

This place was a fun escape from reality, while also being a community of real people. It was an anchor when I was going through a death in the family and other turmoil some years back.
Over time, communities change. It happens. More avenues are opened, rules change, rules bend.
By the way, I know I left an edit in my past post, but sorry for going nuts in your blog the other day.
I’m sure you saw the reason I placed in the edit - the following morning I realised that I had been accidentally taking triple dose of an anxiety medicine for some days. By that weekend it had spun my head out and wired me up. That’s when it happened. Heck, that night I didn’t get to sleep till after 3:30am.
I’m not even sure if I would have posted at all if I was in a clear state of mind, that’s the truth. I apologised to the person via PM as well as publicly in the blog. Then I took some days away from FimFiction and even bigger drama happened while I was away. What a week, huh?
But yeah, FimFic always felt like a release from the world - like dressing up as Darth Vader at a Star Wars movie night - but we could still have real world conversations with each other thanks to the blog functionality.
