I have an idea for an epilogue for And Hell Followed, but I want your input.
If you want to give a reason why in the comments of this blog, please do. I already have an idea for it, I just want to see how much it's wanted/needed.
I already left a short essay on the story proper, so I won't repeat it here, but I would very much like to see an epilogue to give the story the little kick it needs to feel like it goes from an ending to the ending.

I just want to talk
Yo, have it from Celestia and Luna's POV.
I would absolutely love an epilogue! I can personally imagine a couple of possible ideas for a sequel, but I probably wouldn't have the wherewithal to write something that deep.
I left a comment on the second-to-last chapter of the story about what would make a great sequel (btw, research the reconciliation process and gacaca courts that followed the Rwandan genocide—it’s an absolutely fascinating topic and a potential angle to explore in a sequel).
I envision a sequel would take place after a timeskip, whereas an epilogue would focus on the very immediate thoughts, actions, and feelings of the survivors and the returned unicorns. There are suddenly a bunch of unicorns around Equestria who need food and water, and supplies of both are completely destroyed. Most of all, I want various unicorns confusedly casting about for answers as to why they killed their friends and families.

Certainly, an epilogue to close this chapter and the story, tell the final desperation but also the possible hopes to come, maybe ask/answer some ligering questions... that could be nice. And it could pave the way for a possible sequel, should you feel up for it.
Yes, please. You kinda scared me with the two alicorns not being completely back to normal. And I gotta know if the mares keep their promise on the stairs.
And... maybe Discord... I know how badly he'll be hurt. I remember in the official comics, when Discord lost his first "friend", he dropped a hint that he purposely got turned to stone. I can't even imagine what he wants now.

Basically ya
As someone who came in halfway, and read to the end, I see the potential in an epilogue, but, suspense is perhaps one of the greatest tools a writer can have. Sure, I'd love to see a tried and true 'ending', but, if you kept us in the dark, or teased snippets, or future story art pieces (perhaps if there will be a sequel), then I err more to the side of wanting to see how you introduce other elements, for the aftermath. A small epilogue simply wouldn't do justice to a very fleshed out 'sequel' or intermission story, that really clenches the nigh-wasteland that Equestria, and the world over has become.
All in all, I want to both applaud, and congratulate you on this story, for the experience it provided, and the stimulation its brought me for my own inspiration, especially to darker genres.
My only meme for this post will be: inb4 an AHF Multiverse is made :)
